TracFone is a nationwide cell provider specializing in prepaid accounts. No credit check is needed for the TracFone, and minutes are purchased in increments (30, 60, and up). The TracFone allows you to use existing cell numbers from other providers or lets you create and activate a new number assigned to the TracFone's SIM card. TracFone allows customers to purchase phones and register the SIM cards themselves.
