Make Pc To Pc Calls Using Skype

Skype is a free VoIP program that allows you to participate in telephone-quality voice chats over the Internet. Making calls to your friends on Skype is completely free, no matter where or when you call, as long as you both have PCs and Skype accounts.

Instructions

1. Go to the Skype homepage. Go to the top and click on the "download" tab. On the next page, click on the green "download now" box (see Resources below).

2. Install the software and pick a Skype ID. This ID can be anything you want, and differs from your on-screen ID, which you can change anytime you want.

3. Restart your computer and then open Skype. When you log in you will see an IM-style interface where you can enter friends' Skype IDs.

4. To call your PC friends on Skype, select their Skype ID from your buddy list and hit the green telephone icon. You will hear a ringtone until the other person picks up.

5. Add people to the conversation. If you want to talk to more than one person, you can add people to the conversation by clicking on the "add participant" tab at the top. Select additional participants from your buddy lists, and they will automatically be added to the conversation

6. A voicechat window will open and will log the time and participants in the phone conversation. You are also able to open a chat window to go along with the conversation.
