Remove A Nokia 6275i Front Cover

The Nokia 6275i cell phone is part of the 6000 series of Nokia phones. After substantial use, dust and other debris may make its way behind the keypad and screen, causing the buttons to stick or register incorrectly and making it difficult to view call and text details. There is a simple way to remove the front cover of the Nokia 6275i phone to gain access to the keyboard and screen underneath for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Instructions

1. Press down on the back of your phone and slide off the battery cover to reveal your phone's battery compartment. You will see four slots around the outside edge of your phone. Remove your phone's battery.

2. Insert your flat-head screwdriver into one of the four slots. Press the silver tab towards the center of the phone to depress the tab. Repeat for the other three slots.

3. Insert the flat-head screwdriver or your fingernail into the crack between the front cover and the phone itself at the location of one of the four tabs. Pull the tab out of its slot. Repeat for the other three tabs.

4. Pull the front cover away from the phone's body.
