Bluetooth secure wireless technology is a useful form of data connectivity to have on your personal computer's hardware, as more and more electronic devices, such as phones, PDAs and headsets, use Bluetooth to communicate. As 2010 was coming to a close, Bluetooth integration was becoming a common feature of many laptops and other computers but it was far from being universal. For systems that don't have this feature factory installed, you can install Bluetooth using a USB Bluetooth transceiver.
Instructions
1. Start up your personal computer and wait for it to fully load. Insert the CD into the disc drive and wait for the wizard to appear.
2. Click the "Install" icon and wait for the InstallShield wizard to appear.
3. Click "Next." Read through and accept the terms and conditions, then click "Next" again.
4. Click "Install" to begin the process.
5. Insert the Bluetooth dongle into a free USB port on your computer when prompted. Click "OK" to finish the installation process.
6. Close the wizard and restart your computer to begin using the device.
