Restting your Nokia 5800 phone will erase all of your information.
If you notice that your Nokia 5800 is starting to malfunction or you want to sell the device, you will need to reset the phone. Resetting the phone will restore the device back to its original settings, ultimately removing all of your contacts, messages and media from the smart phone. Once you initiate the reset process, there is no going back. You should only reset your device as a final troubleshooting method.
Instructions
1. Press the "Menu" button and tap "Settings."
2. Tap "Phone" and scroll down the page.
3. Tap "Phone mgmt." and select "Factory Settings." Click "Yes" to confirm your decision.
4. Enter your personal security code for your device and click "OK." If you do not have a code set up for your device, you will not be prompted to enter a security code.
