Configure An Iphone For Tmobile

The iPhone is a wildly popular mobile device that has revolutionized the mobile phone market. Unfortunately, the iPhone is currently limited to the AT&T network, leaving many potential customers isolated, mostly due to their current cell contracts. Luckily, the community responded with unlocking tools that allow users to safely unlock their iPhones for usage on other GSM networks, such as T-Mobile. Setting your iPhone up with T-Mobile requires a T-Mobile SIM card, a T-Mobile data plan, and the program "blackra1n."

Instructions

1. Download and install "blackra1n" from Blackra1n.com. Plug your iPhone into your computer and open "blackra1n." Click "make it ra1n" and allow the program to jailbreak your iPhone.

2. Turn your iPhone off. Using the SIM removal tool that came with your iPhone, eject the default SIM card that comes with the iPhone and replace it with your T-Mobile SIM card.

3. Turn your iPhone back on.

4. Tap the "Setting" button on your iPhone. Tap "General," "Network" and then "Cellular Data Network."

5. Tap "APN" and enter "epc.tmobile.com." Leave the username and password fields blank. This sets the phone up to use T-Mobile's data network. Make sure that your plan has a data option added, as if it doesn't you will incur large data charges.
