Getting free TracFone service minutes saves money.
TracFone offers incentives to encourage customers to complete cell phone registrations on their own. Customers may activate phones by calling the company's customer service department. Doing so results in 10 free minutes of service. Activating the cell phone over the internet, however, is a better deal because customers receive an additional 10 minutes for free.
Instructions
1. After logging on to TracFone's web page, navigate to "Account Sign In."
2. Click "Register" under the "New Online Customers" section.
3. Enter data in the "Personal Information" and "Account Information" sections.
4. Click the down arrow in "Security Question Setup" to activate a security question. Type in an answer to the question.
5. Type in the TracFone's serial number and telephone number in the "Add Your TracFone to This Account" section. Type in a nickname, if desired.
6. Click "Submit" and follow the steps to complete activation and receive free minutes.
