Connect Bluetooth
equipment to a computer with a Bluetooth adapter.
As of 2010, most new computers have Bluetooth capabilities, which allow users to connect to wireless hardware such as headphones, printers and other equipment. If your PC is an older model, however, it may have no Bluetooth receiver. An adapter may be added in such cases, giving you the ability to connect to Bluetooth equipment.
Instructions
1. Connect the Bluetooth adapter into one of the USB ports on the computer system. A light will appear on the Bluetooth adapter, signaling it is properly connected to the computer.
2. Insert the driver installation CD into the CD drive of the computer. Wait a moment for the installation wizard to load onto the screen. If it doesn't, click "Start" and "My Computer," then double-click the CD icon. Choose the "Install" icon to load the installation wizard.
3. Accept the license agreement, then click "Next" two more times and choose "Install" to install the Bluetooth adapter driver onto the computer. Upon restart your computer is ready to begin connecting to Bluetooth equipment.
