Unlock A Nokia 6102b

As with most cell phones, the Nokia 6102B is "locked" by the cellular service provider to prevent customers from changing services. Locking the phone makes it impossible to use a different carrier's SIM card to make or receive calls. However, since this is an aftermarket addition programmed by the companies, users reprogram the phone by introducing a unique unlock code. Certain companies gladly give out the unlock code to customers in good standing. However, the customer must buy the code for themselves. Hundreds of online companies offer unlock codes at varying prices.

Instructions

1. Type *#06# on the Nokia 6102B to display its unique IMEI code. This 15-digit number is required to generate the proper unlock code.

2. Choose an online company that specializes in cellular unlock codes.

3. Search the database to see if they offer unlock codes for the 6102B. Each model and handset requires a unique unlock code.

4. Fill in the IMEI and other required information to purchase the unlock code. The code is sent via email.

5. Remove the SIM card from the Nokia by turning the phone off and removing the battery. Turn the phone on without the SIM card.

6. Type #pw+CODE+1# where "CODE" corresponds to the unlock code received via email.
