Most laptops come with internal Bluetooth adapters.
Windows 7 has an Internet connection sharing option you can enable to share it with other computers networked to it. This feature functions over Bluetooth connections, too. Bluetooth wireless connections are relatively slow, compared to traditional wireless networks, but if you don't have a wireless network in your home and running cables between your computers isn't an option, you can share an Internet connection between two PCs over a Bluetooth connection.
Instructions
1. Open "Control Panel" from the "Start" menu of the computer whose Internet connection you wish to share.
2. Open "Network and Internet," then "Network and Sharing Center." Note which network adapter is connected to the Internet; it should be listed under the "View your active networks" section on the right side of the window.
3. Click the "Change adapter settings" link in the panel on the left side of the window, then right-click on the network adapter that is connected to the Internet and select "Properties" from the menu.
4. Go to the "Sharing" tab and check "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection." Click "OK" to save your settings.
5. Go back to the main Control Panel window and type "Bluetooth" into the search box in the top right-hand corner of the window. Click the "Change Bluetooth settings" link.
6. Check "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer" and "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer." Click "OK" to apply these settings.
7. Open "Devices and Printers" from the "Start" menu on the other computer and click the "Add a device" button. Windows then searches for and lists devices to which it can connect.
8. Select the computer whose Internet connection you are sharing from the list and click "Next."
9. Enter the security pass key generated by one computer into the connection setup window on the other computer. Your PCs should now be set up to share an Internet connection via Bluetooth.
