Cheap Way To Boost A Cell Phone Signal

Cheap Way to Boost a Cell Phone Signal

If you've had a cell phone go dead on you right in the middle of a conversation because of lack of signal then you know how inconvenient it can be. You don't have to let this happen to you because with a few inexpensive household items you can easily boost your signal.

Twist Ties

Take some sandwich bag twist ties and twist them around the end of your cell phone antenna. If you phone doesn't have an antenna, tape them to the top of the phone. One or two should do the job. Tape them down using duct tape or electrical tape.

Test it out by turning on your phone. You should see at least one to three extra bars than what you had before.

Paper Clips

Use a pair of needle nose pliers to bend a paper clip so that one end is sticking out like a wire. Attach this to your cell phone with some duct tape or electrical tape using the pointed end like an antennae.

Test it out by turning your phone on and checking the reception bars. You should see one or two bars of increased reception.
