Modern cell phones make it easy for the user to put music on them.
While not every cell phone supports music playback, the majority of them do. Because most phones support music playback, the ability to transfer songs from your computer to your cell phone has become quite simple. In fact, apart from the USB cable that comes packaged with most phones, all the user needs is a mouse.
Instructions
1. Connect your cell phone to your PC via the USB cable that comes packaged with your phone.
2. Open your start menu and click the "Computers" icon to open a new window showing your storage devices.
3. Double-click the icon that looks like a cell phone to open the window. Depending on the cell phone model, the new phone may not have an icon but will be clearly labeled.
4. Enter the "Music" folder inside your phone window. If you don't have a folder, create one by right-clicking and selecting "Create New Folder."
5. Copy the music you want to transfer to your phone by clicking the music file and dragging it into the music folder on your phone. Repeat this until you have all the music you want, at which time disconnect the phone from the PC and allow a moment for the phone to register the new data.
