The Samsung Intercept is a cellular phone that lets you access and use an array of applications including Amazon's MP3 music download service and the social media network Facebook. The device, also known as a smartphone, lets you access the Internet and email as well as the phone's built-in calendar. A single, replaceable battery pack powers the Samsung Intercept. New battery packs are available for purchase directly from Samsung and third-party battery manufacturers.
Instructions
1. Turn off your Samsung Intercept by pressing the "Power" button on the front of the phone.
2. Turn the phone over so the back of the device is facing up.
3. Press the bottom of the battery cover and slide it away from your phone's camera lens --- the camera lens is on the upper portion of the back of the phone. Place the cover to the side once it is free from your phone.
4. Use your fingernail or a small flathead screwdriver to lift the battery pack from the bottom of the phone. Place the old battery to the side.
5. Align the gold contacts on the new Samsung Intercept battery pack with the gold contacts inside of your phone. Press the battery pack slowly into the phone's battery housing.
6. Place the battery cover back on your phone and slide the cover toward your phone's camera lens. Connect your Samsung Intercept's battery charger to the phone to charge the new battery pack until your phone's display states the battery is fully charged.
