Unlock Sprint Cdma Phones

Restrict access from your cell phone by locking your phone.

A locked cell phone prevents keys on the keypad from accidentally being pushed and making calls. It also restricts anyone who does not know the lock code from being able to make calls or accessing information on the cell phone if it is lost or stolen. If you know the lock code, unlocking your Sprint phone is as easy as pressing a few buttons.

Instructions

1. Press the left or right soft key below the screen where it reads Unlock. The soft keys are the buttons with a dash on them that are located to the left and right directly beneath the screen.

2. Enter the lock code. The lock code is a four digit code. If it has not been changed, the factory default is the last four digits of the cell phone number.

3. If the lock code is not known and the last four digits of the cell phone number do not work, call Sprint Customer Care at 888-211-4727. The easiest way to unlock the phone is to change the phone number.

4. Request to have the phone number changed. The agent changes the phone number and walks you through programming the phone with the new phone number. The phone will unlock and the lock code automatically defaults to the last four digits of the new phone number.
