With an iPhone, you're able to make and receive calls almost anywhere. Sometimes, however, holding a cell phone isn't safe or convenient. If you must use your iPhone while you drive or need your hands free while you're talking on the phone, it is possible to use its Bluetooth function to take calls through a wireless headset. The Plantronics line of Bluetooth headsets lets you talk without holding the iPhone. To use your Plantronics headset, you need to pair it with your iPhone.
Instructions
1. Power on the iPhone. Tap the "Settings" icon, and then tap "General." Touch "Bluetooth."
2. Tap the Bluetooth setting to change it to "On." The iPhone is now in pairing mode and discoverable by the Plantronics headset.
3. Hold down the "Call" button on the Plantronics headset for several seconds. The indicator light begins to flash blue and red.
4. Tap on the name of the Plantronics headset in the iPhone's list of Bluetooth devices. Enter "0000" if asked for a key code. You are now able to use the headset with the iPhone.
