Download Mp3 Files To A Cell Phone

USB cables are available with different sizes of connecters on the end that attaches to your phone.

As of 2010, it's become a standard feature for cell phones to be able to play MP3 music files. Music on your computer can be downloaded to your cellphone with a USB cord specific to the phone. These cords often come with the phone, but some USB data cords must be bought separately. Check the manual for your phone to confirm that it has USB and MP3 capability.

Instructions

1. Insert any CD that came with your phone and install it on your computer. The CD included with cellphones contains special software called "drivers" that allows your computer and phone to communicate with each other. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

2. Connect your phone and computer using the USB cord.

3. Click "Start" on your desktop and select "My Music." Click "Start" once more and select "Windows Media Player."

4. Click the "Sync" tab in Windows Media Player. Click and drag music from the "My Music" or other folder on your computer to the "Sync List" in Windows Media Player under the "Sync" tab. Your device will be listed right above the "Sync List" text. Connect only one device for syncing with Windows Media Player at a time.

5. Click "Start Sync" to download music to the phone.
