Nokia 5610d Won'T Find Memory Card

A typical memory card.

The Nokia 5610D is a cellular phone designed to play MP3s. To store these files you need to have a memory card inserted into the phone. If your phone isn't recognizing your memory card, you more than likely haven't installed the card correctly. The good news is that you can remove and reinsert the card quickly.

Instructions

1. Turn the Nokia off and turn the unit over. Slide the back battery door off of the unit and locate the memory card holder just above the right side of the battery compartment.

2. Slide the holder open and remove the memory card by sliding it out of the holder.

3. Slide the memory card back into the holder, making sure the gold contacts at the end of the card are facing up. Make sure the card is secure in the holder.

4. Slide the card holder shut and replace the back battery cover. Turn the Nokia back on and the unit should recognize the memory card.
