Fix Water Damage in a Nokia N86
Cell Phones have become indispensable life tools. Many rely on these tools to keep up with family and work activities. Having your phone damaged by water can bring your life to a halt. But there are simple steps to take to keep your phone from being ruined.
Instructions
1. Immediately remove the battery, SD and SIM cards and anything else that will come apart from the phone.
2. Place the phone in a bowl of rice with an airtight lid and let dry for at least 12 to 36 hours, depending on how wet the phone is.
3. Remove the phone from the rice and replace the battery. If it doesn't turn on, take out the battery and place the phone back in the rice bowl for another 12 to 24 hours.
4. Remove the phone and put the pieces together. If it turns on, continue as normal. If the phone does not turn on, you can try repeating the process. At some point, you may have to realize that it may not come back.
