A standard memory card.
Using a memory card with your Nokia 6085 is a great way to back up such data as songs or photos. Activating a memory card in this particular phone consists of inserting it in your phone and formatting it. But there's no need to panic because formatting your phone doesn't take much time and you don't need to know much about electronics to do it.
Instructions
1. Turn on your Nokia 6085 and locate the memory card compartment on the lower-righ the unit. Use the tip of your finger to pop the compartment cover off.
2. Insert the memory card into the compartment, making sure the gold contacts at the end of the card go in first, and are facing up. Press the memory card into the compartment until it locks in place and replace the cover.
3. Select "Menu" from the list of options in the phone menu and then select "Gallery" from the list of options that appears.
4. Select "Options" from the list of options in the drop-down menu and then select "Format mem. card." Your memory card will then be formatted and be completely activated and ready for use.
