By default, the Samsung Soul's (U900) keypad makes a beeping sound when you push a button. If you find this undesirable, you can simply remove the keypad tone by turning the feature off. Disabling the keypad tones does not affect your phone ringer, (that is adjusted in the "Profile" menu), so you'll still be able to hear other tones on your phone. If you'd like, you can simply reduce the volume of the keypad tones rather than disable them completely.
Instructions
1. Close any currently open applications or games on your Samsung Soul. If you are in the middle of a call, push "End" to end the call. You can only turn off the keypad tones in "Idle" mode.
2. Find the "Volume" buttons on the left side of the Soul. You'll see an "Up" and "Down" arrow.
3. Push the "Down" arrow repeatedly. An on-screen menu will appear, showing you the volume level of the keypad tones. Continue pressing "Down" until the keypad tone volume is at "0."
