Update Nero 7 For Vista

Nero 7 is a CD and DVD burning software application that you can also use to edit video and audio files as well as split extra-large video files among several discs. Nero 7 is compatible with Windows XP but it isn't with Windows Vista. To get Nero to work with Vista, you must remove Nero 7 from your system and install the Nero 7.5 update.

Instructions

1. Click "Start," "Internet Explorer." Go to the Nero website. Click "Support." Click "Nero 7" under "Select a Product." Click the "Tools and Utilities" tab and then "Support Tools" and "Support Tools + Utilities." Click the "Nero General Clean Tool" tab. Click the "Download" button and save the file to your computer. Double-click the ".exe" file to unzip it. Check the box next to "Nero 7" and click "Clean," and then click "Exit" when it's done.

2. Reboot the computer. Open Internet Explorer and go to the Nero website. Click "Downloads," "More," and "Update" next to Nero 7. Enter your email and click "Download." Save the file to your computer. Double-click the "Nero 7.5" file to begin the install. Follow all prompts to complete the installation.

3. Type in the Nero serial number when prompted. Click "Next," and then click "Finish."
