Tracfone offers wireless plans without contracts. This service is ideal for those who cannot afford a monthly bill or don't use cell phones enough to warrant a contract plan. If you have not used your Tracfone handset for some time, you can still reactivate it to use the existing minutes. You will need to register your phone once again on the website. This includes entering information about yourself and your cell phone.
Instructions
1. Launch a Web browser. Visit the Tracfone website. Log in the website with your username and password.
2. Click "Activate/Reactivate Phone." Click the "Existing Customer" bar since you have an account with Tracfone.
3. Finish the customer questionnaire. Include your full name, street address and telephone number. Press the "Submit" button when satisfied.
4. Select your desired activation option. Choose your phone's model number from the list. Click "Submit" once again.
5. Locate the serial number on your battery and write it down. Insert the battery inside your phone and turn it on. Enter the serial number on the Tracfone website.
6. Click the "Submit" once again on the website. You will receive a phone call when registration of your phone is complete.
