Import Apple Address Book Contacts With A Nokia N97

Keeping mobile phones in sync with computers has become popular since the introduction of smartphones. Users often keep calendar and contact information synced between both devices. Normal software provided with the Nokia N97 only works with Windows, but the Nokia N97 can be synced with an Apple Mac using the iSync application. Available for download from the Nokia and Apple websites, it enables you to put your Apple "Address Book" onto your N97.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser. Navigate to the Nokia website (see Resources). Click on the "Compatibility and Download" tab. Click on the "Nokia N97" icon. Click "Download." Double-click the downloaded plug-in disk image to open it in "Finder." Double-click on the installer package. This is the file name ending in ".pkg." Follow the direction wizard to install "iSync."

2. Open the "Applications" folder in "Finder." Double-click on "iSync" to open it.

3. Connect your Nokia N97 to your Mac with the provided USB cable. You also can connect your N97 to your computer with Bluetooth.

4. Click on the "Devices" menu and select "Add Device." The program will scan for devices. Click on the "N97."
