Reset The Nokia E51

The Nokia E51 is a compact smartphone designed mainly for business with high-speed downloads and features such as email and messaging. Every now and then, your phone may run into errors including crashing, display problems and freezing. Resetting your phone may solve common errors. Resetting your Nokia E51 is a simple process that restores the default factory settings without deleting saved information including saved documents, contact information, calendar entries and files.


Instructions


1. Turn on your Nokia E51 cell phone and select the "Menu."


2. Select "Tools," "Settings," "General" and "Enhancement."


3. Select "Factory Settings" to reset your cell phone and restore the default factory settings. When prompted, enter your device lock code, and then confirm your selection. Your phone resets automatically, reboots and restores the default factory settings. Documents, contact information, calendar entries and files are unaffected by the reset.
