ITunes lets you bring music, television shows and more with you while on the go.
You must have a compatible mobile device to download iTunes. Compatible devices include smartphones and certain tablets and e-books, including the iPad. Be sure that your device has enough memory to not only download and install the application, but also to run it and download purchases from it.
Downloading the iTunes application is relatively easy. Once you have downloaded the application, you can log in to begin purchasing songs, ringtones, albums, television shows and series and more.
Instructions
1. Go to itunes.com. iTunes will recognize that you are accessing it via a mobile application and will suggest that you download the mobile app. If you are using an Apple product such as an iPhone or iPad, iTunes comes pre-installed on these devices.
2. Click "Download iTunes" and agree to the terms and conditions. This will download the application to your mobile device and install it. Once the app is installed, you will be able to access it by clicking it.
3. Log in to iTunes. If you already have an iTunes account, then log in with those credentials. If you do not yet have an iTunes account, then follow the prompts on your mobile device to create one. You will need an email address, home address and credit card and/or PayPal account. Your credit card will not be charged until you purchase downloadable items from iTunes.
4. Search items that you wish to download. The items can be anything audible, such as songs, ringtones, television shows, audio books and more.
