Operate A Nokia N95 8gb

The Nokia N95 8GB is an upgrade to its chunkier predecessor, the N95.


The N95 8GB is a smart phone created by Nokia. Like most Nokia smart phones, it runs on a Symbian operating system. The Nokia N95 supports various types of applications as well as a picture, video and music files, and has eight gigabytes of built-in memory for storage. Get the most out of this device by learning to use it.


Instructions


1. Push the battery cover release button located on the back of the phone, slide the cover away from the phone to reveal the battery compartment. Remove the battery and insert the SIM card into the provided slot. Replace the battery and cover, then hold down the power button to turn the device on.


2. Slide the screen upwards to reveal an alphanumeric keypad. Dial a number and press the call button to make a call.


3. Press the Menu button and select "Messaging." Select "New Message" to create a message. Select the "To" field and enter the number you wish to send a message to. Select the text field and type your message. Press "Options," select "Insert Object" and select a media type to add a file. Press the Call key to send the message.


4. Slide the screen downwards to reveal the media buttons. Press the Menu key, then select "Music" followed by "Music Player" to access your music. Select a category, scroll to a song you wish to play and select it to begin playback. You can use the media buttons to control the music player.


5. Press and hold the Capture key to open the camera. Point the device at the subject you wish to photograph and press the Capture key to take the photo. To switch to the camcorder function, select "Video Mode" from the toolbar. Press the Capture key to begin recording and press it once more to stop recording.


6. Press and hold the 0 key to open a web browser. From here, you can access various websites on the web. You can also download applications directly to your phone from app sites such as Getjar. To install downloaded applications, press the menu key and open "Applications" followed by "App. Manager." Locate the file you wish to install, press "Options" and select "Install."
