Activate a GPRS connection on your mobile phone easily.
General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a term used in mobile telephony to transfer data and voice communications at a rate between 56 and 114 kbps. GPRS is faster than a 2G network, but falls short of a 3G network. Under certain circumstances, the GPRS on your mobile phone may become disabled. This commonly happens when you board an airplane and your phone switches into Airplane mode. To regain your phone services, you will have to activate the GPRS connection on your mobile device.
Instructions
1. Press the "Menu" key on your mobile phone.
2. Open "Settings and Tools." Select "Phone" or "Network" settings.
3. Locate "Airplane Mode." Select the option to disable the airplane mode. This will ultimately activate your GPRS connection.
If you do not see "Airplane" mode, locate "Wireless Mode." Select the option to enable the wireless settings on your phone, which will ultimately activate the GPRS connection.
