Unlock My Motorola V3

A Motorola cell phone

Your phone may be locked in to just one service provider. To use a different service provider, you will want a code to unlock the phone. Then you'll be able to replace the SIM card of the old provider in the battery chamber. International travel is anotheer reason to unlock your phone. Adding a provider (and a different SIM card) allows you to avoid your original provider's high international roaming charges.

Instructions

1. Go to the Motorola page of MobileCodez.com linked in the references below.

2. Select the version of V3 that you have in the drop-down menu. (There are several versions of the V3).

3. Type in your phone's IMEI number from inside the battery chamber, or by typing *#06# on you keypad in the phone mode.

4. Enter the code that is mailed to you exactly as it appears in the email. For example, "A4566A Send" should be typed in as 245662, and then press the "Call" or "Talk" button to submit the code. If you can't get the phone to work for the new SIM chip, enter the code a few more times to be sure, before contacting the service that provided you the code.
