Remove The Battery On A Nokia 2660

The Nokia 2660 is a flip phone from Nokia that acts as a standard cell phone, but can also receive and send e-mail and browse the Internet. You may need to remove the battery from time to time if your phone appears slow or unresponsive; removing and reinserting the battery typically alleviates these problems. You can remove the battery simply by removing the battery cover and lifting the battery out of the phone.

Instructions

1. Open the flip cover and press and hold the red phone icon. The phone will shut down. Close the phone.

2. Turn the Nokia phone over, so that the screen is facing down.

3. Press on the back of the battery cover and slide the cover toward the top of the phone. The cover should unlock and slide out. Do not apply too much force; the cover should slide off gently.

4. Position your fingernail underneath the top of the battery; there is a provided space so that your fingernail should fit. Lift up to remove the battery.
