Download A Dvd To Mp3 Player

MP3 players allow you to watch videos as well as listen to music. These players aren't usually large enough to accommodate a DVD disk though. This means that if you want to watch a DVD that you have on your portable video MP3 player, you'll need to download some software that can assist with making the right conversions.

Instructions

1. Find a site that has some conversion software that you can download. An example would be Format Factory (See Resources).

2. Download the program by clicking on the download link. Open the installation file to get the program installed on your computer.

3. Open the conversion program and put your DVD in your DVD drive. Click on the section for DVDs. Hit the "DVD to Video file" button. Click on the dropdown menu next to "DVD" to make sure you're selecting the DVD drive you want.

4. Click on the dropdown menu next to "Output Setting" and select "Mobile Device." Select the MP3 player that you want to make your DVD compatible for there, such as iPod.

5. Hit "Convert" to convert your DVD to the right video file. This will "rip" the video from your DVD, making a copy of it in the video format you want. Connect your MP3 player to your computer with the USB cord. This should automatically give you an option to open your MP3 players folder.

6. Click on "Output folder" in your conversion program, and click and drag your converted video file from your computer folder to your MP3 folder. This should download the video file to your MP3 player.
