Use the Nokia 6300 USB Cable


The Nokia 6300 is a candy bar GSM camera phone that packs a 240x320 screen capable of displaying 16.7 million colors and integrated 2 MP digital camera with 3GPP recording capabilities. On the storage front, it has MicroSD card support, while Bluetooth takes care of connectivity. The 6300 can use Java 2.0 apps and features Macromedia Flash Lite 2.0 for mobile web browsing. The Nokia 6300 has a mini USB port and can be connected to a PC for transferring data to the phone.


Instructions


1. Turn on the phone.


2. Plug the mini USB cable into the mini USB port on the phone.


3. Plug in the standard USB cable connector into a USB port on your computer or PictBridge compatible printer.


4. Select the desired USB mode when prompted on the phone: Select "Nokia mode" for use with the Nokia PC Suite. Select "Printing & Media" to connect the phone to a compatible printer or compatible PC. Select "Data Storage" to use the phone as a mass storage device, allowing the phone to appear as a USB drive on your computer.


5. Access the phone on your computer using either the Nokia PC Suite, a compatible printer or media player, or via Windows Explorer.
