Block International Calls On Tmobile G1

The G1 smartphone works with T-Mobile's GSM network. The G1 works on Google's Android platform, and the device has no shortage of features. While the G1 can call internationally, in most instances this function is not included in T-Mobile calling plans. Avoid the sticker shock of a bill riddled with overage charges or keep a child or employee from making unauthorized calls by restricting international dialing. T-Mobile provides this service free of charge.

Instructions

1. Visit mytmobile.com and choose the log-in option. Type in your phone number and password, then click "Log In."

2. Choose the phone number that corresponds with your G1 phone by clicking on it. Choose the "Manage Services" option, then follow the on-screen instructions to restrict international calling.

3. Dial "611" from your G1 or call 1-877-453-1304 from any other phone to speak to a customer service representative if you do not wish to use the online service. Provide the representative with your G1 phone number and request that international dialing be blocked. Representatives are available from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific time.
