The Belkin N1 Wireless Router is a basic Wireless-N router that supports up to 300 MB/s wireless connection speed and up to 100 MB/s wired connection speed. The Belkin N1 Wireless USB Adapter is a basic Wireless-N adapter that supports up to 300 MB/s wireless connection speed--the perfect match for the Belkin N1 Wireless Router. If you have both the Belkin N1 router and adapter, connecting the two is not difficult.
Instructions
1. Insert your Belkin N1 Wireless USB Adapter into a free USB port on the computer you want to connect to your Belkin N1 Wireless Router. Insert the drivers CD that came with the adapter. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish setting up the adapter for use and then remove the CD.
2. Click on the "Network" icon in the System Tray, select your Belkin N1 Wireless Router's network name from the list and then click the "Connect" button.
3. Type in the network password for your Belkin router (this can be found on the information card on the underside of the router) and press the "Enter" key. A connection between your Belkin adapter and router will now be created.
