Vodafone UK offers General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), with which you can access the Internet on your HTC Touch P3452's integrated Web browser. For each megabyte you use for accessing the Web, you will be charged a particular fee, depending on your data plan. First, you will have to get the service activated by calling Vodafone customer services. Then you have to enter Vodafone settings manually, after which you will be able to connect to the Internet.
Instructions
1. Call "191" from your HTC Touch, and speak to a Vodafone customer services representative. Tell the rep to enable GPRS subscription for Vodafone Internet Access Service.
2. Tap "Start," then tap "Settings."
3. Select the "Connections" tab.
4. Tap "Connections."
5. Tap "Add a new modem connection" under the "My ISP" tab.
6. Enter a name for the connection on the "Make New Connection" screen.
7. Select "Cellular Line (GPRS)" in the "Select a modem" list.
8. Tap "Next."
9. Enter "Internet" in the "Access Point" field, and "pp.vodafone.co.uk" in the "Access Point (PAYG)" field.
10. Type "Web" in both the "Username" and "Password" fields.
11. Enter "http://live.vodafone.com" in the "Homepage" field.
12. Specify "Normal" in the "Authentication" field, then tap "Finish."
