Unlock A Motorola I860

The Motorola i860 is designed to work on iDEN networks, such as Boost Mobile or Nextel. The phone has the popular clamshell design, with an external and internal display screen. Your i860 can be locked, a security feature that helps protect it from unauthorized use. When locked, you'll need to enter a numerical code to use the phone. A SIM PIN is used to unlock the SIM card, while an unlock code will disable the phone lock.

Instructions

Unlock Code

1. Open the flip to reveal the keypad. Press the "Power" button to turn the phone on. If the phone lock is turned on, an "Enter Code" message will display.

2. Use the keypad to type in your four-digit unlock code. If you do not know the code, enter the default code of "0000."

3. Press "OK." If the code was entered correctly, the phone will unlock. If you do not know the code and the default code is rejected, you will need to contact your provider for assistance.

SIM PIN

4. Open the flip to reveal the keypad. Press the "Power" button to turn the phone on. If the SIM lock is turned on, an "Enter PIN" message will display.

5. Enter your SIM PIN. If you have not set a unique PIN or are unsure of the PIN, enter the default PIN as set by your wireless carrier.

6. Press "OK." If you entered the correct PIN, the device will unlock. Otherwise, contact your carrier for assistance on resetting your SIM PIN.
