Change The Menu From A List To A Grid On The Nokia 2610

As far as features and form factor, the Nokia 2610 is not the typical cell phone. The cost-efficient handset doesn't feature a touchscreen or an advanced mobile operating system to streamline use of the 2610's menus. If you find navigating the Nokia 2610's menu interface with the handset's compact directional keypad to be tedious or inefficient in "list" format, you can switch the menu's layout to the more accessible "grid" layout.

Instructions

1. Open the 2610's menu interface from the standby screen -- press the "End" button if you're not on the standby screen.

2. Press the center selection button, located in the center of the phone's directional keypad, to select the onscreen "Menu" option.

3. Navigate down to the "Options" heading in the menu, using the directional keypad. Press the left selection button, to select the onscreen "Go to" option.

4. Select the "Main menu view" option from the menu. Use the left selection button to open the option.

5. Select the "Grid" option from the "Main menu view" menu -- press the left selection button.
