What Phones Work With Fring

Fring utilizes your phone's Internet connection.

Fring is a mobile application that utilizes your phone's Internet connection giving you the ability to chat and interact on social networks. One of Fring's biggest features allows for the use of video calling on supported devices. All of this is completely free because Fring uses the Internet connection you already have on your phone.

iPhone

Fring can be used with iOS version 2 and above on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, original iPhone or iPod touch. You can locate the Fring application in the App store and it requires an Internet connection. If you are using the iPhone 4, Fring also supports video calls.

Android

Fring is compatible with all Android devices and is available in Android Marketplace. Simply search the Marketplace for "Fring" and download it. This version of Fring has features such as free video calls on phones similar to the Nexus One and instant messaging. It does require an Internet connection.

Windows Mobile

Fring is only compatible with certain devices that run Windows Mobile 5 and 6. Fring for Windows Mobile does not support video calls but all the other familiar features are present. You can download Fring for your Windows Mobile device (see Resources).

Symbian

Fring supports the Nokia S60 phone running Symbian 9, and phones running Symbian 8 including the Nokia 6630, 6680, 6681, 6682, N70, N72 and N90. Only the Nokia S60 supports video calling but all other versions have the features of Fring.

Other Phones

Fring also supports a variety of mid-range phones. The version available for these phones may not have all the features as the smartphone versions but you can still enjoy features such as chatting. See the Resources section to download Fring for your phone.
