The Nokia 7510 cellular phone comes with a genuine Nokia BL-5BT battery. Over time the battery loses its charge capacity as it is put through discharge and recharge cycles. The lifetime of a battery depends on the amount and type of usage. A phone that is constantly recharged after being partially discharged will have a shorter life than a battery that is fully discharged before being recharged. Never touch other components such as the SIM card when handling and changing the battery.
Instructions
1. Place both thumbs on the back cover of the phone.
2. Push the cover away from the phone. It should slide off without using much force.
3. Pull out the battery. It should pull straight out of the slot; there is no unlock mechanism.
4. Slide the new battery into the slot.
5. Slide the back cover onto the phone until it snaps into place. Turn your phone on and test the battery. If it doesn't come on, you either have a bad replacement battery, or the terminals that connect the battery to the phone are bad or corroded.
