Connect Motorola Razr To The Pc With Bluetooth

If you have a Bluetooth-enabled RAZR phone, you can use the Bluetooth connection to send files back and forth from your phone and a Bluetooth-enabled PC. Motorola RAZRs transfer files quickly to the PC using the USB cord supplied with it, but using Bluetooth makes it easier to send files wirelessly when you do not have your cord. It also eliminates the hassle of having to install the RAZR software on the PC.

Instructions

Opening the Razr Bluetooth

1. Press the menu button located in the center of your phone. Then navigate to "Settings and Tools."

2. Open the "Connections" menu, and select "Bluetooth."

3. Choose "Setup," then "Power." Switch the power "On."

Opening the PC's Bluetooth

4. Turn on your PC and insert the Bluetooth Dongle into the USB port. Wait for the program to launch. You may get a dialog bubble that opens in the bottom right-hand corner of your PC that says "Installing Device." If this message pops up, allow your computer to continue installing the driver.

5. Install the software that came with the Bluetooth Dongle. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete installation.

6. Wait for the PC to completely install the driver, then click "Finish" and close the box.

Syncing the Devices

7. Go to your PC's start menu and open the "Control Panel." Next, open "Network and Internet" followed by "Setup a Bluetooth enabled device." When the dialog box opens, click the "Add" button.

8. Click the button that says "My Device Is Ready To Be Found." Click "Next."

9. Find the Motorola RAZR device in the lists provided, then click "Next."

10. Enter the passkey on your PC. When the dialog box opens asking you for a passkey, provide the one that was given to you in your Bluetooth Dongle's user manual. You will also be asked to enter the same number on your Motorola RAZR phone.
