The icon marked "Return Home" calculates the route home.
High-quality, in-car audio equipment manufacturer, Pioneer, also makes built-in, flash-memory multimedia navigation receivers. They include a DVD player, and some have a 7-inch motorized screen. The navigation system utilizes the screen to show maps. Searching for a destination can be accomplished by entering an address; route guidance volume can be adjusted, and Apple iPods can be played, too. Using a Pioneer Navigation System is a matter of following some steps.
Instructions
1. Touch "Destination" on the top menu screen, and the Pioneer will display the navigation menu. Look at the icons and text on the screen. You'll see options to search for a location by address. The icon has a text label marked "Address." The icon marked "Return Home" calculates the route home. Touch an icon to go to the option.
2. Search for a destination by address. Touch "Address" and input the information that you want to use for the address, for example, street number, street and city. Touch "OK" to confirm, and the Pioneer Navigation System will search for the destination. The route confirmation will appear. Touch "OK" again, and the device will prompt you visually and via voice as to get to the destination step by step.
3. Press "Settings" and then "System Settings," followed by "Volume" to adjust the route-guidance volume. Use the plus or minus keys to make the adjustments.
4. Connect the optional Pioneer iPod USB interface cable to the Pioneers' USB jack and mini-jack connector, and then to your iPod to play media from your iPod. The source will automatically change on the Pioneer, and playback will start.
