Program My Motorola H700

Your Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset is designed to give you hands-free use of most Bluetooth-enabled phones. The headset's boom microphone automatically powers the device on when unfolded. You'll need to charge the headset fully (about two hours) by connecting it to a compatible AC charger. Leave the boom microphone folded up. Once charged, you can program your headset for first use. Programming involves pairing your phone and headset, a onetime task that allows the devices to communicate wirelessly.

Instructions

1. Place your phone and Bluetooth headset within a few feet of one another. Open your phone's main menu and choose "Settings." Select "Bluetooth" and then choose "On" to turn on Bluetooth.

2. Flip open the boom microphone on your headset. The indicator light will turn solid purple--this means the headset is in pairing mode.

3. Select "Settings" on your phone and choose "Bluetooth." Choose "Add New Device" or "Search." Your phone will now search for the headset. This can take a few seconds.

4. Highlight and select "Motorola H700" from the list of found devices. Use your phone's keypad to type "0000" when you are prompted for a passkey, then press "OK." The headset's indicator light will change from steadily lit to flashing blue when pairing is successful.
