Open A Nokia 6500s

You'll only need a screwdriver to open your phone.

The Nokia 6500S is a cellular phone with a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus Carl Zeiss lenses. It incorporates a design feature common to many Nokia cell phones: a sliding frame that raises up to reveal a keypad. Infrequently, you may find yourself with the need to open the phone up in order to perform a fix. You'll discover that it doesn't take too much time to take the Nokia 6500S apart.

Instructions

1. Turn your Nokia over and slide the back battery cover off the phone. Lift the battery out of its compartment and set it aside.

2. Insert your fingernail in the seam at the top of the phone where the top panel meets the body of the phone. Run your finger around the seam until it pops off.

3. Pry the plastic frame around the back camera lens off by the corners and set it aside.

4. Lift the top sliding frame up and off the phone. It will come off without any problems.

5. Use the tip of your screwdriver to pop the LCD screen up by the sides. Lift the screen up with your fingers to expose four screws behind the screen.

6. Use your screwdriver to remove the four screws from the back of the screen.

7. Unplug the orange screen cable from its port on the body of the phone. Set the LCD screen aside. Your Nokia is now completely open.
