Most cell phones have multiple ways to turn off the silent mode.
Cell phones, in today's society, are something that almost everyone carries. They are small and compact, easily slipping into a coat or pants pocket. This is especially handy when you need to make a call while you are out and about. It can be a problem when you are somewhere that it is not acceptable to have a phone, such as a business meeting or the movie theater. Due to this reason, you can turn the volume on the phone to silent or even just to vibrate. Getting your phone off of the silent function is moderately easy.
Instructions
Settings Method
1. Turn your phone on.
2. Go to the settings menu on your phone.
3. Go to the sound selection.
4. Uncheck silent mode, or if unavailable, go to volume and turn the volume up to a higher volume. This may be represented by numbers or a number of bars.
Volume Buttons
5. Turn your phone on.
6. Find your volume buttons. These may be located on the side or top of your phone.
7. Click the upper button until the volume on your phone is at the level you want.
Power button
8. Turn phone on.
9. Hold down the power button.
10. Click on the option to turn silent mode off.
