Unlock your cell phone so that you can use it cheaply outside the country.
Many cell phones sold in North America, including the Nokia 6030, come with a SIM lock that restricts the use of the cell phone within the carrier you purchased it from. This may be fine for many who are happy with their carrier and have little desire to switch to another carrier with similar fees. However, if you travel abroad or need to spend an amount of time in a foreign country, you will want to be able to unlock your Nokia 6030 to be able to take advantage of the cheap local SIM cards available, instead of paying expensive roaming charges.
Instructions
1. Turn on your Nokia 6030 phone. Press *#06# on your Nokia to get the phone's IMEI number needed to identify the unlock code.
