The Nokia E71 is a smartphone developed by the Finnish Nokia company which allows you to access the Internet through the device and use it as a modem to connect your PC to the Internet. You can customize the Internet settings on the phone for issues like privacy, pop-ups and connection points by using the "Web Settings" menu found in the "Web" directory of the phone. In these menus you can scroll through the available options.
Instructions
1. Press the left-soft key "Menu" button.
2. Highlight "Web" and press the "Navi" key. Click through "Options" and enter the "Settings" menu.
3. Highlight and press the "Navi" key on the "General" tab. Select "Access point" to amend the Wi-Fi connection. Click on "Home Page" and enter the web address of your desired home page. Choose "Browsing Security Settings" and select from the available options to change the security of the phone Internet.
4. Navigate to the "Page" menu and press the "Navi" key. Enter the "Imaging," "Audio" or "Pop-up" settings menus and scroll through the available options. Select the option you desire and press the "Navi" key.
5. Click on the "Privacy" menu. Change the available options to set your privacy level.
6. Press the "Navi" key on the "Web Feeds" icon. Change the settings for web feeds and blogs that come directly to the phone.
