Voicemail is a feature that is available at no additional charge to Tracfone customers. Tracfone users who set up their voicemail are able to retrieve messages left by callers. Setting up voicemail also enables users to select a PIN to keep their messages secure. You can customize the voicemail with a personal greeting that plays each time a caller reaches your voicemail.
Instructions
1. Press and hold the "1" button on the Tracfone. Hold the button until the phone dials the voicemail system.
2. Select the language you want to hear, then press the button to confirm your choice when prompted to do so.
3. Select a PIN number, then reenter the number to confirm it when prompted.
4. Record the personal greeting. The greeting is played by the voicemail system to callers. Listen to the greeting and confirm you want to save it when prompted.
5. Listen for confirmation that the voicemail was successfully set up. Disconnect the call to exit the voicemail system.
