Unlock A Bell Samsung Galaxy

Samsung Galaxy unlock codes are located on the phone.

Many cell-phone service providers use Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards to activate service by linking your SIM card to your phone. If you travel to another country and want to use another SIM card for your Bell Samsung Galaxy, you will have to obtain the unlock code to do so. The codes for Samsung Galaxy are located in the phone and can be easily obtained.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Bell Samsung Galaxy and type "*#06#" on the keypad. Your IMEI number will be displayed in the first 15 digits that appear.

2. Connect the phone to a computer with a USB cable. The smaller end of the cable connects to the phone and the bigger end to the computer.

3. Click "Open" when a dialog box displays. Open the ".BAK" file. The unlock code is stored in this folder for some versions of Samsung Galaxy. If it is not, contact Bell for the unlocking code. The company may provide the code if you are moving to another country or traveling and want to purchase a separate SIM card. Alternatively, you can download software that generates unlock codes for your phone.

4. Press and hold the power button to turn it off. Remove the back cover and take out the SIM card.

5. Replace the back cover and press and hold the power button to turn on the phone.

6. Type "#7465625*638*" followed by your 8-digit unlocking code (no spaces) and "#." The phone should read "Network Lock Deactivated" and may automatically reboot to reflect these changes. Now you can use another SIM card.
