Change Dictionary Settings In A Nokia 3500

The Nokia 3500 has been around since 2007 and features a 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, a stereo radio feature as well as hands-free operation and Bluetooth capability. Cell phones have become more than methods of communication. They also keep track of our daily schedules, remind us to pick up bread on the way home, help us add up our purchases, and with dictionary functions, such as those the Nokia 3500 has, even translate foreign languages.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" button.

2. Select "Office" from the menu, and then "Dictionary."

3. Choose "Options" from the drop-down menu.

4. Pick "Listen" to hear the selected word.

5. Select "History" to find words previously translated.

6. Highlight "Writing Language," and choose from the list.

7. Select "Languages" to change, add or delete the language. You must keep English, but may have two other languages installed on your phone. To download additional languages, use the "Reference" link.

8. Select "Speech" to change the voice features. Both volume and the speed of speaking can be adjusted.
