Program A Nokia N95 Latarka

The Nokia N95 lets users make phone calls and access the Internet.


The Nokia N95 is a wireless, handheld smartphone. Users can make and accept phone calls, access the Internet, shoot photos and video and use limited office functions. A user can personalize the device by programming the date, alarm, appearance, language preferences, display and a host of other settings.


Instructions


Settings


1. Select the "Settings Wizard" when you first open your phone to configure initial settings.


2. Change general settings, or restore the original, default settings by pressing the button with both a light and a dark dot, with two lines that indicate swirling.


3. Select "Tools," then "Settings." Scroll to select the settings you'd like to program. Options include "General," "Phone," "Connection" or "Applications." Press the button with a solid black square to select.


Date and Time


4. Press the button with two dots, and choose "Applications" and "Clock." To program a new alarm setting, choose "Options" and "Set Alarm." The icon of a bell will glow when the alarm is activated.


5. Choose "Stop" to turn off the alarm. Choose "Snooze" to stop the alarm for five minutes. Cancel the alarm by choosing "Applications," "Clock," "Options" and "Remove Alarm."


6. Change all other clock settings by choosing "Applications," "Clock," "Options," "Settings," "Time or Date," "Clock Type" or "Clock Alarm Tone."


Appearance


7. Change the way the Nokia N95 looks by pressing the button with two dots, and selecting "Tools and Themes."


8. Push the left or right selector buttons to adjust the display brightness. The sensor may make the display flash minutely in dim light.


9. Push the buttons to adjust the font size of the display text and to choose the duration of the time-out period for the power saver.


10. Push "Default" to display the default welcome note. Push "Text" to write your own welcome note or "Image" to choose a picture from the Nokia N95 gallery.


Standby Mode


11. Program personal preferences into the Nokia N95 by editing the standby mode, display and general functions. Press the button with two dots and choose "Tools," "Settings," "General" and "Personalization." Select "Tones" to choose new sounds for the clock, calendar and profile.


12. Make sure "Active Standby" is on and select the shortcuts you want to glow as icons in active standby.


13. Assign shortcuts to the selection keys in standby mode by pressing "Shortcuts" and the left or right selection key.


14. An operator logo is available if you have saved a logo. Choose "Off" to hide the logo.
