Featuring a microphone boom, a standard ear piece and an LED indicator light, the Motorola Headset H710 links to your phone for making hands-free calls. To pair your Motorola H710 with your cellular handset, you must activate the headset in pairing mode and turn on the Bluetooth receiver on your phone. Once paired, the Motorola H710 remains linked with your phone's Bluetooth receiver.
Instructions
1. Flip open the headset's boom to activate the device in pairing mode. The device's indicator light flashes blue, signaling that it has entered pairing mode.
2. Activate your phone's internal Bluetooth receiver. The process of activating a phone's Bluetooth receiver depends on the model of phone you use. Motorola handsets' Bluetooth receivers are activated by going to "Settings," selecting "Connection," opening "Bluetooth Link," choosing "Power" in the menu and selecting "ON."
3. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings menu and select "Motorola H710" from the list of available devices. Type "0000" when the phone prompts you for a Bluetooth pass key. The Motorola H710 flashes purple and blue when it has successfully paired with your phone.
